Meet Katie

Katie McMahon is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® based in Canmore, Alberta. With over 13 years of experience as a high-performance ski coach, combined with her work as a mental performance counselor and experience as an athlete herself, Katie brings both expertise and curiosity to her practice. She works with a wide range of athletes and performers—from youth to Olympians—while specializing in high-performance youth athletes.

Katie’s approach is rooted in the belief that the human comes first and the performer second. Through creativity and compassion, she builds meaningful relationships with her clients and helps them develop the mental skills needed to perform with confidence, resilience, and courage—both in sport and in life.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional Treaty 7 Territory.
